The ceremony was held as a drive-through event due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Graduates arrived by car and were announced by Principal Robert Nickel. They then exited their car, were greeted by Superintendent Dan Tjernagel, and then received their diploma from Teri Hooker, the President of the Board of Education. The graduates then had their photo taken by a professional photographer before returning to their car. Families were not allowed to get out of the cars to accompany or photograph the graduates.
Sturgeon Bay High School celebrated commencement ceremonies with a drive-up ceremony at the front of the school Saturday, May 30. Photographer Coburn Dukehart of Wisconsin Watch was there to capture the scene.
